Restoration is a genuine consultation on your card: it starts in our WhatsApp community, where we assess it together and work out what can be improved. Cleaning and restoration are carried out by specialist external consultants and professionals, to whom we entrust your cards.
How it works
- Consultation in the community or privately: together we assess the card, its value and what can be improved.
- You hand over your cards by the 5th of the month: cards handed over later go out the following month.
- Restoration work carried out by specialist external professionals, in about 3–4 weeks.
- Grading, if you wish: the cards are sent for grading by the end of the month following handover.
- We return your card restored or graded, depending on what you chose.

The cost depends on the card’s raw value (the value of the ungraded card).

Frequently asked questions
How is the price calculated?
Based on the card’s raw value, i.e. its ungraded market value: from €35 up to €100 per card. Cleaning, slab cracking and shipping are added only if needed.
Who carries out the restoration?
Specialist external consultants and professionals we work with: we handle the initial consultation, the handover and the return of the card.
Can I have the card graded after restoration?
Yes: we can send it to the grading company of your choice, then return the graded card to you. You’ll find prices and timescales on the Card Grading page.
What is slab cracking?
If the card is already graded, we open the case (slab) so we can work on it.
